Matan is a security researcher at Imperva, analyzing and reconstructing new web application threats, and leading data-driven WAF solutions based on state-of-the-art machine-learning algorithms.
Over the last years Matan has been researching and developing machine-learning related solutions as the Research Director for the Temporal Similarity Measures project in the Medical Informatics Research Center at Ben Gurion University; and as a researcher in the EU-funded MobiGuide project, whose objective was to manage chronic patients over time.
Matan holds a B.Sc. and M. Sc. in Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University.
