A well-known information security professional, with an emphasis on the security of mission critical infrastructures, mainly in the banking & payments industry. Grigorios has more than 15 years of experience in the information security industry. He is based in the UK and has travelled around the world to share his expertise and to ensure that businesses within different sectors (banking, payments industry, maritime, defense & space) are secure against emerging cyber threats. He has an active participation in the information security industry mostly across Europe, and a number of publications in the area of Computer Security and Computer Forensics, with active research in CyberSecurity and CyberDefence.

His hands-on experience in information assurance services and his R&D background in computer security, which includes studies on applied CyberSecurity at MIT, along with his experience in the CyberDefense department in the Greek military, is invaluable when it comes to safeguarding mission critical infrastructures. Written the next generation SIEM as part of his PhD research with “notional understanding” of network event for real-time threat assessment.

Grigorios (a.k.a. Greg) has been invited to present in a number of security conferences, workshops and summits over the years. Among other responsibilities, he is currently part of ENISA (list of NIS Experts), the main organiser for Security BSides Athens, and a board member for Security BSides Amsterdam.
