Dimitar is an openSUSE Advocate from Bulgaria. In his free time he is spreading the word about it and helping others to adopt it. He is also passionate about different approaches to virtualization and containerization. Occasionally he is teaching open source related courses.
He works as a business intelligence/data integration consultant at a local Bulgarian company which is a main provider of solutions based on the SAP BusinessObjects BI platform for customers in finance, insurance, and etc. He also has experience with software by other vendors including Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, and Tableau.
From an OSS perspective he is trying to keep up with the latest developments in the business intelligence area from Talend, Pentaho, CloverETL, and others. He believes that OSS can provide a reliable alternative to the status quo in various areas of life.
